If tis is real, wenger really lost it... 110k for adeybayor??

EMMANUEL ADEBAYOR has had an amazing F-word bust-up with an Arsenal fan at an airport.

The Gunners striker had to be calmed down by security after a verbal attack by a Brit in Lagos.

Adebayor was returning from Nigeria last week when the man started hurling abuse at him.

Witnesses said the fan, in his 30s and claiming to be a London paramedic, accused the star of not pulling his weight.

Rilwan Adedapo, who saw the incident, told SunSport: “The guy started getting personal about how he should try harder.

“Ade tried to laugh it off. But the man started hurling abuse at him and used the F-word.

“He screamed ‘You get paid £80,000 a week to put the ball in the back of the net and you’re still f***ing rubbish. I pay good money for a season ticket to pay your wages.’

“Emmanuel completely lost it and had a right go back. He said ‘I get £110,000 a week if you must know’. It just made the guy even more angry.

“If it wasn’t for security dragging him away, it could have got a lot worse.”

Wenger: We never stood a chance of signing Messi

I ask a question a few years back, Cesc and messi played in the same team. If arsene wenger can scout cesc, of course he would have scouted messi. Y didnt we tried to sign messi?

finally it confirm wat we speculated....

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has revealed that he believes Barcelona star Lionel Messi is the best player in the world at the moment and claimed that despite tracking him from a young age he was realistic about his chances of stealing the Argentine from under the noses of the Catalan club.

Speaking last week to the official Arsenal magazine in the aftermath of Argentina’s impressive 2-0 victory over France at Marseille’s Stade Velodrome, Wenger remarked, “There was an absolute superstar on the pitch and that was Lionel Messi.”

“I would pay to watch him because it’s just a pleasure to see him play. I see big comparisons between him and Maradona, although I must it’s in favour of Messi.

“Don’t forget he’s still young, the same age as Cesc [Fabregas]. We knew about him when he was playing in the same youth team as Cesc, but there was never a chance of getting him because his family was in Barcelona and he was linked with the club.”

This is an oldie but a real goodie.

An interesting group of Arsenal players once held a one-on-one quiz in the 2005/06 season to test their knowledge on the squad and the club’s history.

Watch to see how Lehmann cares little to know about his then teammates and how intelligent Senderos could be academically.

Enjoy!!!

Sick....

Its winter time, though my room isnt snowing but i feel very cold..

Fever just struck me last night just like how lightning struck u...

I rem ppl say coke add salt will be good for fever or heaty...

My mum just told me i added MSG in my coke instead of salt...

Weekly Eboue show episode #6 (i think)

Well its a long time since i declare my love for our legendary winger, full back, attacking midfield, midfield enforcer, midfield general and play maker. If u ask me who is better.. bergkamp or eboue? I got to say it's a close call.

Arsenal vs Tottenham

Eboue started brightly, although on the right wing he exerts left right centre. A cut in from the right and a flash shot across goal, reminds me of King Henry.

pickin up the ball in his own half, he spreads the ball to the right nonchalently and gallops to the left with a swift and deft touch zoom past woodgate and GOAL!
Mr nice guy referee says its a push.

the way eboue plays reminds me of ronaldinho in barca 2yrs ago, minus the needless complaint which result him in getting a yellow card for complaining to referee on a decision which doesnt involve him. Oh wait! probably probably wenger gona make him captain soon. Rh comment tat nx season eboue will take number 4 replacing our current captain fabregas.

In the needless of the needlessness, our world class legendary winger, full back, attacking midfield, midfield enforcer, midfield general and play maker, eboue retalliate to a modric challenge...

simply said eboue is just be eboue. he brings so much colors and entertainment to arsenal football club.

P.S Wenger just revealed he rejected a 104mil pound bid plus lionel messi, from barcelona.

good job wenger!

Finally we get our man after torturious transfer struggle

I bet most of the fan is feeling wat CW is feeling. yes the word is struggling. did he sign or did he not? 1st i learn that dere is an additional day for transfer window. not sure the reason tho. and arshavin didnt arrive. den the FA grant 1 more day extension for the transfer window due to snow. arshavin didnt arrive either. den another 1 more day for the FA and arsenal to confirm the transfer. U might not understand y i feel so anxious but if ur club is signing a 15mil transfer den i bet u wld feel e same as me.

Oh yes i did mention i might not wan wenger to sign Arshavin so y am i so anxious now?

At 1st i thought wenger was going to sign a world class holding midfield or arshavin.of course i felt tat arsenal needed a dm more den a am but suddenly wenger said he will either sign arshavin or nobody. so ...

arshavin is definitely an improvement over basically every winger in the club. i shall not just name eboue and diaby. in case loo accused me of biasness.

I wonder wats the exact transfer fee...i cant help but curious to find out did arsenal cave in and match e fee? or zenit drop e price.

I am also eager to know how will arshavin fit into the squad. but i got a feeling wenger will play a 4-2-3-1 system but on paper its gona still be 4-4-2.

denilson diaby or song, flank by arshavin and nasri supported by rvp behind adey. 3 in the hole behind striker with interchangable position and a free role. back to the bergkamp pires and birdie days...

Tot vs arse this wkend...

Adeybayor mystery illness....

Arsenal striker Emmauel Adebayor has revealed how a random football kicked into a church set him proved the miracle cure that set him on the road to international stardom.

Making up for lost time: Adebayor powers away from Everton's Phil Neville
The Togo star could not even walk by the age of four and was taken to a local church by his concerned mother in a bid to find a cure.

And he told Arsenal TV: 'I was in the church, lying down, and a ball came straight into the building and the first person to stand up was me because I wanted to get the ball.
'Everyone started crying: "Your son is walking because of a football and this means he has the chance to be a footballer. Most of the time when these things happen, it means the boy has football in his blood." And it worked for me.'

Arshavin signing?

This got to be the most draggy transfer of all time. Even up til yesterday, after the extended hour by FA, we still cant confirm whether Arshavin had signed for us.

Sources claim that the FA will confirm today, our time ard 5pm.
Details of transfer will be release after confirmation.

One of the sources reported that Wenger gt Arshavin for cheap. 10mil plus 2 mil addon fee depending of appearance and performance. It is said that he will also be wearing the number 23 shirt. Last taken by Sol-bad guy campbell

I would certainly be amaze if wenger got it at that price.

With all the hype surrounding this transfer, no doubt the expectation is high for arshavin if he does really arrive.

P.S The deal if definitely off according to one sources :

SOURCES UNDERSTAND the only problem with the deal being completed is that arshavin wanted a cholate cake as part of his personal terms and we could just not aford it.

Could Andrei Arshavin Be Arsenal’s Defensive Midfielder?

Arsenal’s weaknesses have been prevalent in a season more perilous than any under the Wenger regime. Arsenal have neither an experienced nor a competent holding midfielder. Their central defense has been inconsistent. Incompetent moments at the back have cost them points. As of right now, they are the favorites to drop from the Champions League places.

The obvious, standard move would be to acquire a burly, possibly English midfielder to provide some steel or a veteran defender who can play with either Toure or Gallas. Arsene Wenger, paradoxically, has spent the entire transfer window signing Russian attacker Andrei Arshavin. Wenger seems to be intent to get the player Arsenal least need. But, here is a possible explanation.

Arsenal did not beat West Ham, but after Vela entered the match they, for one of the few times all season, played Arsenal football, even if it amounted to nothing.

Two elements make Arsenal’s system successful.

When Arsenal play well, they dominate possession of the ball. They shuffle it up and down and from side to side looking for an opening. They keep the other team on the back foot.

To capitalize on the possession, Arsenal need penetration. They get through the first line of defenders, with an incisive pass or a skillful run. The defense panics. The wall-passing and five-a-side skills come out, and Arsenal attack the goal. Total football. Lovely.

In most matches this season, Arsenal has reasonably held possession. The problem has been in penetration. Which is no coincidence, considering major injuries to players like Theo Walcott, Cesc Fabregas, Eduardo and Tomas Rosicky. Arsenal have not penetrated all season, resorting to hoofing the ball up to Adebayor and hoping something happens.

Arshavin could replicate the role of these players, providing his own invention and creating additional space for players such as Nasri and Vela. If he gets the system working, Arsenal’s game will hold opposing teams behind the ball, thus mitigating their need for a defensive midfielder and a defender.

Could this work or has the esteemed Arsene Wenger truly lost it?
