Political Turmoil in Thailand

The latest peaceful protest from the red camp has seen 50,000 protestors "donating" 300 Litres of blood, not for medical cause but for spilling onto Government house or headquaters.

The 300 litres of blood could probably save quite a number of lives, not to mention health issue, which can cause a spread of disease.

Thailand tourism industry has been hit hard by the major protest from the yellow camp last april, slightly less than a year ago. Just when things are slowly recovering, they are once again hit with another major protest.

The "blood sacrifice" is just the calm before the storm, more protest is expected to be conducted over the next few weeks. How the government reacts to the situation will determine whether the protest is going to lead to a riot.

Manage to complete 2 of my to do list

First;

Finally I have treated all Akatsuki Member to Kallang to catch a movie. JH was here last Thursday to watch Green Zone. He has always he wanted to come over to watch a movie but due to delays, work commitment, fly kite, all sorts of nonsensical reason, he was here only after almost 10 months.

Wanted to invite commoners and co, Peru NW Grace but wasn't able to find the right movie at the right timing. 3 more days to go!

Second;
Went to cycle around the neighbourhood last friday, cycled from 1.30-4am. Super tired, the next day I can feel the strain on my thigh.

Normally, I only cycled at night at east coast park with very little traffic. This time round, I cycle alone with the traffic passing by. Its really not easy to cycle on the road. I guess my plan to hike around sg got to wait til I improve my cycling skill.

Now that I have more time to spare, I will finally be able to start a regular routine workout.

4 Days left....

Its almost 2 weeks since I tendered in my resignation. I am still not sure whether this is the right path for me. I didn't really put in the effort to find a job. Just send a couple of resume online. Only one got back to me, Standard Charter. I really dun see myself working in a bank. For a start, I went to the interview just to try out. Didn't really thought of whether I want to work in banking industry. I got through the interview and HR call me up within 3 days. The pay was good benefit was good. So I just signed up.

Everything just flow like a waterfall, before I knew it, it 2 more weeks to my new job. Now that my project, quiz and paper works is settled, I am sitting back and thinking is this right, is this what I want? Honestly I dunno, I have been threading in unknown water for quite sometime, cinema and now banking?!

It really excites me that I am about to step into a whole new industry, I will be meeting a different set of client with a different perspective. What will my job be like? hows my colleague? What kind of boss I will have? The thing that worry me most is whether the job is suitable for me anot...

Soccer round up

Kudos to irving who perform so well in this week Fantasy League. Last month was a great month for me, manage to reduce the gap to within 20pts, only to see it extend again. All my eggs is in 2 basket now, Villa and Pool.

Liverpool certainly disappoint me, it is really out of my calculation that pool lost to wigan. They certainly look good before the wigan game. I am still banking on pool to thrash portsmouth with torres the main threat. wanted to take 3 villa defender but I lack the guts to do it haha, now I am regretting it. Nonetheless, a torres hatrick will go someway to ease the pain. If the unthinkable happens, pool draw a blank, I guess it would be real hard to climb.

Onto arsenal;

Nicklas Bentner! scored a goal to keep our title dream alive. I know this is bad and tis is wrong, but it feels gd to see sol campbell slide in for a legitmate tackle and took out one of hull city player.

Arsenal dun like to be kicked bla bla bla, we just need ppl like campbell keown and vieira, i hope wenger can sign some crazy lunatic in the summer. Slick and attacking football aint enuf, we need ppl to deal with the likes of stoke and bolton in order to win title.

This year is a major let off, not for arsenal club or fans. Its bloody wenger that got off the hook. If not for man u and chelsea to screw up, we would have been banish and consigned to fighting for 3rd place long ago. Wenger whom promise to deliver a trophy this year would have been "sacked" by fans and media. Instead the let off will give wenger another season. Wenger will AGAIN say : "this team has challenge for e title til the end, we reach semi final bla bla bla, the team is young, we can achieve nx year...." crap.

With our defense ageing/leaving/injured, silvestre is a liability, campbell,gallas and senderos all leaving. Keeper a problem area, and "immenent" arrival of Chakmah Chakra. A defender is definitely a high on the radar, altho our keeper sucks but i dun see wenger spending money on tis area. I expect 2-3 signing in the summer.
