Bintan Resort (S-rank) Mission Report

Day One:

Rendezvous with Shino at Tenah Merah MRT along with some villagers (Wash one wash, charlizard and Peru). We took Bus 35 to the ferry terminal, upon reaching I immediately spot Tobi. On a closer look, it was just some foreign worker.

Shino scouted the area too and he did not see Tobi. Just when we wanted to call Tobi, that foreign worker came up to us. That foreign worker turns out to be Tobi.....zzz....not just me and shino, all the villagers didn't recognise Tobi. Hats off to Tobi for using shape shifting technique into a foreign worker. Please next time you could have shapeshift into something or someone better.

The voyage to bintan wasn't smooth, the ferry rocks!(physically) due to the choppy sea, causing Shino to have sea sickness. I was affected by it too.

When we reach the resort we were greeted with a welcome drink. Nobody knows what drink its is, but it just taste damn nice. Some say its sugar cane, some say lemon tea and some say its jasmine tea.

Our unit was not located near the lobby, thus we had a mini bus to drive us there. Just a 2 min journey.

The bungalow have 2level, 5 rooms,1 kitchen and 3 toilet. By far one of the best chalet we had stayed.

Tobi and me shared the smaller room, while Shino shared with wash one wash. Me and shino had secret mission to watch over the action of wash one wash.

After dumping our luggage in the room, we immediately proceed to BBQ. Instead of a BBQ, all we did is sit on the sofa and watch TV, and the food just magically flew to us. Cook of course. Actually not magically, we need to tank grace's parents and Peru for cooking for us. Ah Li Kar Tou Ku sai mask.

We followed Akatsuki's Standard Operation Procedure Protocol, which means we played Taboo, Mafia and some games. Shino was really damn damn unlucky, he kena all the worst forfeit. 1st he was made to introduce to Grace's friend. He had to talk to them for 1 minute non-stop. Of course Grace's friends ignore him, which really make Shino looking like an idiot.

2nd forfeit, Shino, Tobi, Grace and wash one wash had to sing or dance for 1 song. Again they really look like idiots. Really some just open the mouth duno sing wat, den some just wave hand halfheartedly. Tobi is the only 1 that really set the example, dancing and rolling around. Hands up for Tobi. Catch here for the MTV. I will post it in once I receive it.

Day2: Every1 was quite onz hav to sae. Average of 2-3 hrs slp and all woke up and were ready for the beach. Had some warm up volleyball games among ourselves before we were challenged. Its the game of the century. Team Singapore VS Team Indonesia. Challenging for the “Coca Cola Beach Volleyball Championship”.

Final score: Team Singapore lost 17-25

Still proud despite the lost. Brave performance put up by Team Singapore playing away… lol

After tat all of us went to challenge the Waves of the Bintan sea b4 we rinse ourself in the swimming pool at the resort.

Back to the chalet and bathe b4 moving out to the central to walkwalk and dinner. Nth much there. After dinner Simon and Ningwee went for Full Body Massage while the rest stayed back at the restaurant as we tok about the “Unexplained”. Aaron being tempted to join them for the massage held back for some reason. When we ask him he said he scare tat when massaging certain parts of his body may jump (in chinese). Hw much do u understand frm tis sentence?

Back to the chalet, due to fatigue i guess. All stoned in front of some boring tv programs for 2 hrs before we decide to play some games as not to waste time. Tis time rd the strength keep dropping tru the nite. Ended wif onli Sam Peiru Grace and mi playing Bridge till around 5+. Quite surprised that they can actually last so long without slp.

Day3: Woke up at bout 11. First ting i heard when i woke up is tat we were almost burnt alive by kind hearted Charissa who wanted to boil some water for us b4 she leave to catch her ferry in the morn. And she left leaving the kettle to boil when all of us were still slping upstairs. Luckily Ningwee woke up early and happen to receive the call frm her to prevent tis tragedy. Orelse u will not be reading tis post now.

Watched some tv. Went for lunch at the restaurant near the beach. Then spend 1-2 hrs at the leisure center for some games and its about time to packup le to get ready to catch the 1835 ferry back to singapore le. The 3 of us still managed to play some games and forfeit at the ferryterminal b4 we left.

Well blogging is an instant inspiration. You suddenly think of something and you just feel like writing it out. If you dont, you will lose the momentum and you will forget what you wanted to write about.

Just within a space of lets say 5 min, if you listen to a song, your mood changes thus your inspiration. At times I am feeling blue and i feel like writing a emotional post but because of listening to a lively song, my mood lifted. Whatever that I wanted to write suddenly became irrelevant.

Not just a song, a phone call, a drink, an article or even color, all can change how you actually feel and what you wanted to write.

For this very instance, 12:14 Monday 24 November 2008, I have this “urge” to write a blog immediately i put down my luggage and change into home clothes and I wrote this post. I didnt have anything in mind to write about, just a feeling to say something. I had an inspiration but it wasn't clear, but thoughts and words just came to my mind as I type.

Consider this, if I took a bath or a rest before I wrote, this post would be different.

Everything that is happening in every instance, have a cause and effect. What you think and what you do will affect what proceed. Trivia as it can be but it makes a difference. Is life a cause and effect, affected by your decision with interaction? Is life controlled by fate and destiny? Or life is just a random probability that just happens as it happen...

The 2 minute you took to read this post could have change something. You could have wanted to do this or that but it might have changed. You could have done another thing instead. Another thought might have came to your mind, which could have cause you to do another thing.

I finish typing this post at 12:25 Monday 24 November 2008, I wrote it off line. I will post it online tomorrow, but the me tomorrow would not share this feeling with me now, I might feel that this post is very meaningful now, but the me tomorrow could see this as something random.

I wrote this post seriously, and I hope you take time and see what I am trying to say, rather than just another post.

General thoughts

Well still finding job, not easy nowadays. i have decided to turn down the moe job, not sure is it the right decision but only time will tell.

I am still not quite sure how bad exactly is economy now. some say its very bad, and job cut everywhere, some say its not that bad, there is always opportunity in bad times. I am confused.

Going to Bintan island with a bunch of commoner, along with 2 more akatsuki member, another S rank mission, this time to test whether i will miss the ferry anot. tough mission.

wanted to rev up my blog, but i dun wan to over complicate it. Feeling quite stagnant and lazy to really give it a change, guess will put on hold 1st.

Have been reading books and training recently abit of a different lifestyle compare to the past.

Arsenal in shambles, What's up with Wenger nowadays

The way cesc is playing now really cause me concern, he cant really create chances as there is no striker to make the run, he cant advance to attack often as there isnt a ball winner to defend. He is stuck in between causing he to lose form. In fantasy league fabregas last season got so much points, this season rory delap is in front of him, tats says everything u need to know about the way cesc is playing at the moment. But i strongly believe its not his fault, give him back a flamini and he will be back. Look at how cecs play for spain, with the kind of movement silva villa and torres provide and the backup senna give him to roam and dictate. sadly the arsenal now is so far from spain.

Cesc is loyal but how much is he willing to put up with?

January might be the key to cesc future, might be the key to arsenal future but will wenger find the key?
